Driving
From Abtenau, follow the B162 towards Voglau. In Voglau, look for signs directing you to Pichl-West/Voglau. Cross the bridge and immediately turn left. Continue on this road for approximately 1.3 kilometers until you see a sign for Aubachfall and a parking area. Parking is available near the trailhead for approximately €3-€5 per day.
Public Transport
From Abtenau, take the Postbus line 470 to Voglau Lammerbrücke. From there, walk in the direction of Weitenau to Forsthaus Pichl, which is the starting point for the hike to Aubachfall. The walk from the bus stop to the trailhead is approximately 1.8 kilometers and takes about 30 minutes. Alternatively, take a train from Salzburg to Golling-Abtenau station. Then, take bus number 150 towards Abtenau and get off at the 'Aubach' stop. From the bus stop, follow the signs to the trailhead. Bus fare is approximately €3-6.
