    The Mozart Residence is located on Makartplatz, a central square in Salzburg. From the Mirabell Gardens, cross the Makartsteg bridge and walk straight ahead. The Residence will be on your left, next to the Salzburg State Theater. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes.

    The Mozart Residence is easily accessible by bus. Take bus lines 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 22 to the Makartplatz stop, which is directly in front of the Residence. A single ticket costs €2.50 if purchased from a vending machine or €3.00 if purchased on board. A 24-hour ticket costs €4.90 from a vending machine or €6.40 on board.
