If driving from Linz, take the A1 highway towards Salzburg. After about 45 km, merge onto the A9 towards Graz. Continue for about 60 km until the Ebensee exit. Follow signs for B145 towards Ebensee. In Ebensee, follow local signs to Ebenseer Loser. Note that the Loser Bergbahnen operate a toll road leading up the mountain. As of 2024, the toll for a car is €20. Payment can be made with cash, debit card, or Mastercard at the tollbooth before ascending the road.
