Public Transport (U-Bahn)
Take the U-Bahn (subway) line U3 from any central station in Vienna. If you are starting from Stephansplatz, board the U3 towards Simmering. Get off at the station 'Landstraße' (approximately 5 minutes). Once you exit the station, head east towards the Wien Mitte railway station. Follow signs for the Donaukanalradweg, which will lead you to the canal.

Public Transport (Tram)
From the center, you can also take tram line 1 or 2. If you are at the Ringstraße, find the nearest tram stop and board either tram line 1 or 2 towards 'Prater'. Get off at the stop 'Schwedenplatz'. From there, walk south towards the river, and you will see the entrance to the Donaukanalradweg.

Walking
If you are close to the city center, you can also walk to the Donaukanalradweg. Start from Stephansplatz and head east along Rotenturmstraße until you reach the Danube Canal. It is about a 20-minute walk. Once you reach the canal, look for the bike path along the water.

If you have rented a bicycle, you can ride to the Donaukanalradweg following the same routes as above. The bike paths in Vienna are well-marked. From the city center, head towards the Danube Canal, and you will find access points along the waterfront.
