Public Transport
If you are starting from the Vienna State Opera (Wiener Staatsoper), take the U1 subway line (red line) towards Leopoldau. Get off at the next stop, Karlsplatz. From Karlsplatz, transfer to the U4 line (green line) and head towards Heiligenstadt. Get off at the next stop, Stadtpark. Exit the station and walk towards Ringstraße. Then, head southwest along the Ringstraße until you reach Georg-Coch-Platz. The Georg-Coch-Denkmal is located at Georg-Coch-Platz 4.

Walking
If you are near Stephansplatz, walk towards the Graben street. Continue walking along Graben until you reach the intersection with Kohlmarkt. Turn left onto Kohlmarkt and walk straight until you reach the end of the street. Turn right onto Herrengasse, and then take a left onto Georg-Coch-Platz. The monument will be ahead at Georg-Coch-Platz 4.

Tram
From the Schwedenplatz, take tram line 1 or 2 in either direction. If you take line 1, get off at the stop 'Schottentor.' From there, walk to the northeast along Universitätsstraße, which will lead you to the Ringstraße. Turn left onto Ringstraße and walk straight until you reach Georg-Coch-Platz. If you took line 2, get off at 'Schottentor' and follow the same walking directions.
