Getting There

  • Public Transport - Tram

    If you're near the city center, take Tram Line 1 (the Ring tram) heading towards 'Prater'. Get off at the 'Stubenring' stop. From there, walk a short distance towards Stubenring 1, and you'll see the Regierungsgebäude directly ahead.

  • Public Transport - U-Bahn (Metro)

    If you're near the Stephansplatz, take U-Bahn Line U1 (red line) towards 'Reumannplatz'. Change at 'Karlsplatz' to U-Bahn Line U2 (purple line) towards 'Karlsplatz' and get off at 'Karlsplatz'. From there, take the exit towards 'Oper' and walk along Opernring until you reach Stubenring. Turn right onto Stubenring, and you'll find the Regierungsgebäude at Stubenring 1.

    If you're already in the Innere Stadt area, simply walk to the Stubenring. Start at the Vienna State Opera and head northeast along the Kärntnertor Theater street which turns into the Ringstraße.
