From Krems an der Donau, take a bus towards Aggsbach Markt. Get off at the 'Aggstein' bus stop. From there, follow the signs for Kupferwandl, which is approximately a 15-20 minute walk. A single bus fare costs around €4-6.

From Melk, take the B33 towards Krems. After approximately 15 kilometers, turn towards Aggstein. Follow the road to Aggstein and look for signs for Kupferwandl. Parking is available near the hiking area. Parking is generally free.
