From Gmünd, take Bus 170 to Schrems Busbahnhof, a 2-minute walk to the museum. From Pürbach-Schrems station, Bus 726 (Mon-Fri) goes to Schrems Busbahnhof. From Schrems Busbahnhof, walk along Bahnhofstraße, then turn left onto Mühlgasse. The museum is a short walk further on Mühlgasse. The walk is approximately 2 minutes.

From the Schrems town center, follow signs to Kunstmuseum Waldviertel on Mühlgasse. Free parking is available in front of the museum for cars and buses. Parking is also available at Parkplatz Schrems/Dr.-Karl-Renner-Straße. Expect free parking.
