Follow the signs towards Burgruine Dürnstein (Dürnstein Castle Ruins). The trail to Vogelbergsteig begins shortly before the castle entrance.

    Drive west from Krems on the B3 federal road to Dürnstein. There are several paid parking lots outside the town center. Parking costs approximately €6 for all-day parking. From the parking lot, walk through the underpass into the old town. Follow the signs towards Burgruine Dürnstein (Dürnstein Castle Ruins). The trail to Vogelbergsteig begins shortly before the castle entrance.
