As visitors progress, they encounter the ingenuity of ancient civilizations, marveling at Roman technologies for harnessing energy. The journey continues through the Middle Ages, offering a glimpse into traditional crafts, and proceeds to more modern eras, examining building practices and energy consumption. A special exhibition entitled 'The Powerchanger' delves into the world of renewable electricity, from sustainable energy production to efficient use in homes and mobility. SONNENWELT is committed to accessibility, with wheelchair-friendly facilities and family parking. An Energy-Experience-Playground allows visitors to engage with the four elements: fire, water, earth, and air. Visitors can also relax at the café or browse the Waldviertler Regional Specialty Shop. Free tours in German are available for individuals from Tuesday to Friday.
