Originally a four-towered castle surrounded by a moat, it has undergone several transformations, including a redesign into a Baroque hunting lodge in the 17th century. Today, the castle is owned by the city of Wolkersdorf and serves as a cultural center, hosting various initiatives, including the regional music school and the atelier of artist Otto Potsch.
