Walking
From the center of Mayrhofen, head east on Bahnhofstraße, then turn left onto Ahornstraße. Continue straight for about 10-15 minutes. The Ahornbahn cable car station is located at Ahornstraße 853. This is a pleasant walk and allows you to enjoy the charming atmosphere of Mayrhofen. No cost.
Public Transport
From Mayrhofen train station, catch the local bus line 831. Get off at the stop 'Mayrhofen Ahornbahn,' which is directly adjacent to the cable car station. The bus fare is approximately €2-€4 depending on your starting point. The Ahornbahn is located at Ahornstraße 853.
Driving
Head towards Mayrhofen via the Zillertalstraße (B169). Once in Mayrhofen, follow the signs towards the Ahornbahn, located on Ahornstraße. Look for the Ahornbahn parking area. The day parking area at the Ahornbahn valley station is subject to a fee. A special daily guest rate of €3,00 is available for guests of the Ahorn- or Penkenbahn. Tickets can be validated until 5:00 p.m. at the cash desks or at the ticket machines.
