Car
Start from your location in Zillertal. Take the B169 road towards Schwaz and then merge onto the A12 motorway heading towards Innsbruck. Continue on the A12 for approximately 40 km. Take exit 30 towards B179, following signs for Reutte. Merge onto B179 and continue for about 20 km until you reach Breitenwang. Once in Breitenwang, follow the signs to 'Plansee'. Turn onto Am Plansee street and you will find Sandstrand Plansee at Am Plansee 3, 6600 Breitenwang. Make sure to pay attention to parking signs upon arrival.

Public Transportation
From Zillertal, take the Zillertalbahn train to Jenbach. At Jenbach, transfer to the regional train towards Reutte in Tirol. Once you arrive at the Reutte in Tirol station, take bus line 421 towards Breitenwang. Get off at the 'Breitenwang, Plansee' stop. From there, it is a short walk to Sandstrand Plansee, located at Am Plansee 3, 6600 Breitenwang. Be aware that bus tickets will incur a cost, usually around €2-3 for the trip.

Combination of Car and Walk
If you are in Zillertal and prefer a scenic route, consider driving to the area near Plansee. Follow the B169 to the A12 motorway towards Innsbruck, and exit at B179 towards Reutte. Park at one of the designated parking areas near Plansee. From the parking area, it is a pleasant walk along the lakeside path to Sandstrand Plansee, located at Am Plansee 3, 6600 Breitenwang. Remember to bring comfortable walking shoes as the walk can be about 15-20 minutes.
