The drive takes around 45 minutes, navigating narrow mountain roads and tunnels. Toll for a car is €18. Parking is free on the day of your ascent with the toll ticket. Parking is available at the top, but it can be limited.

    From Mayrhofen train station, take bus #4102 towards Ginzling/Schlegeis. The bus journey takes approximately 50 minutes to reach the Schlegeis Stausee bus stop. The bus departs every 1-2 hours.
