    The Steinernes Tor is accessible via hiking trails from either Achenkirch (via Kotalm) or Maurach/Buchau (via Dalfazalm). From Buchau, follow signs to Dalfazer Wasserfall and then Dalfazalm. Continue past Dalfazalm, following signs for Kotalm; the Steinernes Tor is along this path. From Achenkirch, take the forest road towards Kotalm, then follow the trail to Steinernes Tor. Note that the hike from either direction involves significant elevation gain.

    To reach the Steinernes Tor using public transport, take the Regiobus to either Maurach/Buchau or Achenkirch. From Jenbach train station, the Regiobus Achensee (VVT) provides regular service to these towns. With a guest card or booking confirmation from Achensee accommodations, the bus from Jenbach is free. From either village, follow the 'Walking' directions above. A single bus fare without a guest card is approximately €3-5.
