Walking
From the center of Shamakhi, head towards the Shamakhi Museum of History and Culture (located at 40.6001° N, 48.9981° E) as a reference point. Once you reach the museum, continue walking north on the main road (Ganja Street) for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Quba Street. Turn left onto Quba Street and walk for another 1.5 kilometers. As you walk, you'll notice local shops and cafes, which can be a good place to stop for refreshments. After reaching the end of Quba Street, you will come to a bus station where you can ask locals for directions to Gora Kizyaki. The mountain is approximately 4 kilometers away from this point.

From the center of Shamakhi, make your way to the main bus station located near the Shamakhi City Hall. Look for buses or minibusses (marshrutkas) heading towards Goychay or nearby mountain areas. The fare is quite cheap, usually around 0.50 AZN. Inform the driver you want to get off at the closest point to Gora Kizyaki. After approximately 15-20 minutes, you should be dropped off at a location where you can begin your hike. From this drop-off point, follow local trails or ask for directions to reach the peak, which is about 2 kilometers away.
