Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From Ali Bayramli, head to the nearest bus station. Look for a bus that goes to Baku. Once you arrive in Baku, you will need to transfer to a bus going to the Qobustan region. Purchase a ticket to Qobustan. The bus journey may take about 1 to 1.5 hours. After reaching Qobustan, ask the driver or locals for directions to Gobustan Caves, which is about a 10-15 minute walk from the bus stop.

  • Shared Taxi

    In Ali Bayramli, look for a shared taxi (also known as a 'marshrutka') heading towards Baku. Once you arrive in Baku, find a shared taxi or a bus that goes directly to Qobustan. The shared taxi will drop you off closer to the Gobustan Caves. Confirm with the driver that they will take you to the caves, as some may only go to the Qobustan area. The entire journey may take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic.

  • Walking from the nearest bus stop
