From Bahrain Fort, head southeast on the main road towards Shaikh Khalifa Bin Salman Highway (also known as Highway 5). Follow the signs for Muharraq. Once you reach the highway, take the exit towards Muharraq. Continue straight for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach 202 Municipality Ave. The Ishtar Gate will be on your left. Parking is available nearby, but may incur a small fee.

From Bahrain Fort, walk to the nearest bus stop (located on the main road). Take Bus No. 55 towards Muharraq. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. You will need to get off at the stop closest to 202 Municipality Ave. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the Ishtar Gate. Ensure you have small change ready for the bus fare, as larger bills may not be accepted.
