Ameenul Haque traveled extensively to research mosque designs, ensuring a unique and inspiring structure. The intricate details, from the calligraphy of Ayatul Kursi around the mosque to the Surat ar-Rahman inscribed on the inner walls, showcase the dedication to artistry and faith. The complex was established on December 16, 2003, and inaugurated on October 20, 2006, quickly becoming a celebrated tourist spot. It was the vision of Sharifuddin Ahmed Santu, a local politician and businessman, who funded the 200 million BDT project. The mosque complex includes a large Eidgah, capable of hosting thousands of worshippers during Eid festivals, fostering a sense of unity and communal spirit. Adding to the mosque's allure are the three lakes surrounding it, designed to reflect the mosque's image from different angles, creating stunning visual effects. Greenery and gardens enhance the peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal place for reflection and tranquility. The 58-meter high minaret, constructed of white marble, is one of the tallest in the country, further accentuating the mosque's grandeur. The Baitul Aman Jame Masjid also serves as a hub for education and social activities, housing a madrasa and an orphanage. The complex provides separate prayer areas for men and women, ensuring comfort and convenience for all worshippers. A graveyard is located on the south-eastern part of the complex, offering a final resting place.
