Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Dhaka's Gulistan, take a bus towards Tongibari or Sonarang and get off at Goalbari in Sirajdikhan Bazar. The bus fare is approximately 40-45 Tk. From Goalbari, hire an auto-rickshaw to Balur Char village (Baul Bari), which is about 3-4 km away. The auto-rickshaw fare should be around 120-150 Tk for a reserved trip.

    Upon arriving at Mollah's Bazar via CNG from Postogola (30 Tk), cross the river to Balur Char by boat (5 Tk per person). From the riverbank, Padma Hem Dham is a short walk. Follow the local path, and it is approximately a 15-20 minute walk.
