Getting There

    From the Lawachara National Park gate, the Khasia Polli is accessible by foot via well-defined trails. Follow the signs for 'Khasi Village'. The walk is roughly 1.5-2 kilometers and takes about 30-45 minutes, depending on your pace. A local guide can be hired at the park entrance for approximately Tk 300-500 to enhance your experience and provide insights into the local flora, fauna, and culture. Entry ticket – 50 Tk per person.

  • Public Transport

    From Sreemangal, take a CNG (auto-rickshaw) to Lawachara National Park. The fare is approximately Tk 200-300. From the park entrance, follow the walking directions to reach the Khasia Polli. CNG fare for the whole day will be Tk 1200-1500.

The male members of the family collect betel from the trees throughout the day, which the women chop.
