From the center of Blankenberge, head towards the main street, Zeedijk. Walk along Zeedijk towards the north until you reach the train station, Blankenberge Station. Once at the station, board a train heading to Bruges (Brugge). The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. After arriving at Bruges Station, exit the station and turn left onto Kapucijnenstraat. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with St. Gillisstraat, then turn right. Continue walking straight until you see the Gentpoortvest on your left side.

You can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Blankenberge. Start your journey by cycling along the coast on Zeedijk towards the north. Continue cycling until you reach the junction with Oosteroever. Follow the signs for Bruges, which will lead you along the scenic cycling paths. The ride to Bruges will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Bruges, follow the bike paths to the city center, and you will find Gentpoortvest near the historical area.
