To reach Donkere Poort from the Markt (the central square of Bruges), start by heading north on Breidelstraat. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Wollestraat. Turn left onto Wollestraat and follow it until you come to the main road, Steenstraat. Cross the road and continue straight along the path towards the 'Smedenpoort', a historic gate. From Smedenpoort, follow the path along the ring road until you see signs for 'Prinsenhof'. Donkere Poort is located at Prinsenhof 54 in Ghent, which is about a 30-minute walk from the center of Bruges.
