Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're in Patershol, start by heading towards the Kraanlei street. Walk along the charming cobblestone streets, enjoying the historic architecture of the neighborhood. When you reach the intersection with the Kraanlei, turn right. Continue walking straight until you see Huis van Alijn on your left at Kraanlei 65. The museum is situated along the canal, offering a picturesque view.

    While most of Patershol is easily walkable, if you prefer public transport, walk to the nearest tram stop, which is likely 'Korenmarkt.' From there, take tram line 1 or 4 towards 'Flanders Expo.' After a few stops, disembark at 'Hogeschool' tram stop. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk. Head towards the canal and keep walking along the water until you reach Kraanlei, then turn left.
