Getting There

    If you're starting from the city center (for example, St. Bavo's Cathedral), head towards the Korenmarkt and then walk along the Sint-Veerleplein towards the Castle of the Counts (Gravensteen). Continue along the Sint-Veerleplein until you reach the intersection with the Groentenmarkt. Turn left onto the Groentenmarkt and follow it until you reach the intersection with the Veldstraat. Turn right onto Veldstraat and walk straight until you reach the intersection with the Karel Lodewijk Ledeganckstraat. Turn left onto Karel Lodewijk Ledeganckstraat, and you'll find the Botanical Garden at number 35 on your right.

    From the central tram station at 'Gent Dampoort', take tram number 1 (towards 'Ekkergem') or tram number 4 (towards 'Zwijnaarde'). After a short ride, get off at the stop called 'Gent UZ'. From there, walk straight for about 10 minutes: head south on the Karel Lodewijk Ledeganckstraat to reach the Botanical Garden at number 35.
