Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Kortrijk train station, exit the station and walk straight down the street (Stationsstraat) until you reach the main square (Grote Markt) in about 10 minutes. From the main square, head towards the Church of St. Martin, located at the western end of the square. Once at the church, continue walking straight onto the Begijnhofstraat. The Beguinage of Courtrai will be on your left at Begijnhofstraat 2, after a short walk of about 5 minutes.

  • Public Transport

    From the Kortrijk bus station, which is adjacent to the train station, take bus number 3 towards 'Bissegem'. Get off at the 'Begijnhof' stop. From there, walk down Begijnhofstraat for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the Beguinage of Courtrai at Begijnhofstraat 2.

  • Walking

    If you are near the Buda Island area, head towards the bridge (Groeningebrug) that crosses the river. After crossing, turn left onto the main road (Buda). Continue straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Begijnhofstraat. Take a right onto Begijnhofstraat, and the Beguinage of Courtrai will be on your left at Begijnhofstraat 2.
