If you're starting from the Kortrijk train station, exit the station and head southwest on 'Stationsstraat'. Continue straight until you reach the 'Korte Pottelberg' intersection. Turn left onto 'Korte Pottelberg', and then continue onto 'Grote Markt'. Walk straight until you reach 'Burgemeester Reynaertstraat'. Take a right onto 'Burgemeester Reynaertstraat', which will lead you to 'Sint-Veerleplein'. The Castle of the Counts is located at Sint-Veerleplein 11, right on the square.

From Kortrijk, you can take a train to Ghent. Board a train at Kortrijk station heading towards Ghent St. Pieters. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Ghent St. Pieters, transfer to tram line 1 towards 'UZ Gent'. Get off at 'Korenmarkt' stop. From there, it's a short walk: head southeast on 'Korenmarkt' towards 'Sint-Veerleplein'. The Castle of the Counts will be on your right at Sint-Veerleplein 11.
