Getting There

    From Ostend-Bruges International Airport, exit the terminal and head to the bus stop located directly outside the airport. Take bus line 6 towards 'Oostende Station'. The bus operates regularly, and the journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the 'Oostende Station' stop. Once you arrive at the station, you will need to transfer to a local bus or walk to Fort Napoleon.

    At 'Oostende Station', look for bus line 3 or 4, which heads towards 'Oosteroever'. Board the bus and ensure that you get off at the 'Vuurtorenweg' stop. From there, Fort Napoleon is a short 5-minute walk away. Head towards the coast by following Vuurtorenweg, and you will see the entrance to Fort Napoleon on your left.

    If you prefer to walk from 'Oostende Station', exit the station and head straight down 'Koningin Astridlaan'. Continue walking straight until you reach the coast. Once you reach the beach, turn left onto the promenade and follow it until you reach Vuurtorenweg. Turn right, and you will find Fort Napoleon a short distance ahead on your left.
