Getting There

Bus
From Ostend-Bruges International Airport, exit the terminal building and head to the bus stop located just outside. Take bus line 6 towards Ostend. This bus runs approximately every 30 minutes. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at 'Oostende Station'. Once you exit the bus, follow the signs to the train station inside the complex.

Walking
After exiting the bus at 'Oostende Station', walk towards the main exit of the station. From there, head southwest on 'Zeedijk' (the seafront promenade) for about 20 minutes. You will pass numerous shops and cafes along the way. When you reach 'Vuurtorenweg', turn right and continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Fort Napoleon, located at Vuurtorenweg 13.

From 'Oostende Station', you can also take a tram from the nearby tram stop. Board tram line 1 towards 'Knokke'. After about 10 minutes, get off at ' Oosteroever' stop. From there, walk east along the coast for about 15 minutes until you reach Fort Napoleon.
