Walking
From the center of Tournai, head towards the Tournai Cathedral (Cathedral of Our Lady). Once you reach the cathedral, face the main entrance and walk straight along Rue de la Madeleine. Continue walking straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rue de la Station. Follow Rue de la Station until you reach the bus station. From there, catch a bus to Lille. The bus journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Lille, disembark at the main bus station (Gare Lille Europe). From there, walk towards Rue de Tournai and continue straight. You will eventually arrive at Place Gilleson, where the Notre-Dame-de-la-Treille Cathedral is located.

Public Transport
Begin your journey at the Tournai train station (Gare de Tournai). Purchase a ticket to Lille. The train ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Lille Flandres station, exit the station and follow the signs for the Metro. Take Metro Line 1 (the yellow line) towards C.H. Dron and get off at the Rihour station. After exiting the station, walk towards the Place Gilleson, where the Notre-Dame-de-la-Treille Cathedral is located. It should take around 10 minutes to reach your destination from the Metro station.
