Car
If you're driving from Caracol, head south on the road that leads out of the Caracol site. Continue until you reach the junction at the main road towards San Ignacio. Take a right turn onto the George Price Highway (Hwy 2). After approximately 10 miles (16 km), you'll see a sign for the ATM Cave on your left. Follow the signs for about 7 miles (11 km) until you reach the entrance of the Actun Tunichil Muknal Cave parking area. Note that there is an entrance fee of $30 USD per person, which you will need to pay at the park entrance.

To reach ATM Cave via public transportation, you can catch a bus from San Ignacio. First, take a bus from Caracol back to San Ignacio. Once in San Ignacio, head to the bus terminal and look for a bus heading to the ATM Cave. The cost of the bus ride is usually around $5 USD per person. The bus will drop you off at the entrance of the ATM Cave parking area. Remember to check the bus schedule for the return trip, as the last buses may leave in the afternoon.
