From the center of Corozal Town, head south on 4th Avenue towards the Corozal Bay. Once you reach the bay, turn left onto the waterfront promenade. Continue walking along the promenade for approximately 1 mile until you reach the intersection with 1st Street. Turn right onto 1st Street and keep walking until you reach the main road, which is the Northern Highway. Cross the highway carefully and continue straight until you reach the bus terminal.

At the bus terminal in Corozal Town, look for a bus heading to Bacalar, Mexico. Make sure to check the schedule as buses may not run frequently. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride, which usually takes about 30 minutes. Inform the driver that you wish to stop at Casa Bakal, located at Costera 81 in Bacalar. When you arrive, you can easily walk to Casa Bakal from where the bus drops you off.
