From Sarteneja, head southeast on the main road towards Corozal Town. Follow the signs for the Northern Highway (also known as the Philip Goldson Highway). Continue on this highway for approximately 30 miles until you reach the junction for the town of Orange Walk. Turn left onto the road towards Orange Walk and drive for about 10 miles. When you arrive in Orange Walk, follow the signs to Belize City. From Belize City, take the road southward towards the town of Belmopan, then switch onto the Hummingbird Highway leading towards Dangriga. Following this road will take you to the coastal area near Punta Gorda. From there, take a water taxi or local boat service to Isla de los Pájaros.
