Car
From Sarteneja, start by heading south on the main road. Continue straight for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the junction for the Belize-Mexico border. Follow the signs to the border and cross into Mexico. Once in Mexico, continue on the road leading to Bacalar, which will take about an hour. As you approach Bacalar, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Costera de. Turn onto Costera de and follow this road until you reach Cenote Cocalitos Beach Resort, which will be on your left.

From Sarteneja, take a local bus heading to Corozal Town. This bus ride typically lasts about 20-30 minutes. Upon arriving in Corozal, look for a bus or colectivo that goes to Bacalar, Mexico. This journey should take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Bacalar, ask the driver to drop you off at Costera de. From there, you can either walk or take a taxi to reach Cenote Cocalitos Beach Resort, which is a short distance away.
