Car
If you're starting from the nearest town in Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve, drive towards the Hummingbird Highway (also known as Highway 1). Once you reach the intersection with the Hummingbird Highway, head south toward Belmopan. After approximately 17 miles (1/2 mile past the town of St. Margaret), look for the entrance to Billy Barquedier National Park on the left side of the highway. The park entrance is marked, and you may need to pay a small entrance fee, typically around BZD 10-20 per person.

Public Transportation
From various locations within Mountain Pine Ridge, look for local bus services heading toward Belmopan or San Ignacio. Inform the bus driver that you need to get off at the Hummingbird Highway junction. Once you disembark, you will need to walk south along the highway for about 1/2 mile until you reach the entrance of Billy Barquedier National Park. Be prepared for the possibility of needing to pay an entrance fee, usually between BZD 10-20.

You can hire a taxi from your location in Mountain Pine Ridge to take you directly to Billy Barquedier National Park. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey. The typical fare from central locations in Mountain Pine Ridge to the park entrance should range between BZD 30-50.
