From your location in Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve, head east on the access road out of the reserve towards the Western Highway (Hwy 1). This road may be unpaved and bumpy, so drive carefully. Continue until you reach the Western Highway. Turn left (north) onto the Western Highway and drive for approximately 17 kilometers (about 10.5 miles). Look for the signs that indicate 'Melchor de Mencos' as you approach. The bridge, Puente Manuel Baldizon, will be on your right side, with a marker indicating its location.
