    Start at the central park in San Ignacio, located near the intersection of Burns Avenue and Main Street. From the park, head east along Burns Avenue. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach the junction with the George Price Highway. At the junction, look for a local bus terminal (the bus station) on your left. Here, you can catch a bus heading towards the town of Santa Elena. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the turn-off for Caracol.

    Once you are on the bus to Santa Elena, enjoy the scenic ride for about 20-30 minutes. When you reach the turn-off for Caracol, inform the driver that you wish to get off. The site is approximately another 30-40 minutes' drive from the turn-off.
