To reach Caracol Natural Monument Reservation by car from anywhere in Vaca Plateau, start by heading towards the town of San Ignacio. Follow the signs leading to the George Price Highway (Hummingbird Highway) and take the exit towards San Ignacio. Once in San Ignacio, continue on Bullet Tree Road until you reach the junction where you will take a left onto the San Antonio Road. Follow this road for about 16 miles, passing through the village of San Antonio and continue until you see the signs for Caracol. The road to Caracol is unpaved and can be bumpy, so drive carefully. The entrance is located at QV7J+6VM, Chiquibil Forest Reserve. There may be a small entrance fee, usually around $10 USD for tourists.
