Car
From the center of Vaca Plateau, head southeast on the main road towards the junction at San Ignacio. Continue on the road for about 12 miles until you reach the junction with the Hummingbird Highway. Turn left onto the Hummingbird Highway and drive for approximately 10 miles. Look for the sign for Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve and turn right onto the access road that leads into the reserve. Follow this road for about 2 miles until you reach the entrance of the reserve at coordinates X24C+Q4G.

Start by taking a local bus from Vaca Plateau to San Ignacio. The bus departs frequently throughout the day and costs around BZD 2-3. Once in San Ignacio, look for a bus heading towards the Hummingbird Highway (usually marked) and pay the fare of BZD 5-7. Get off at the junction for Mountain Pine Ridge and wait for a taxi or a shuttle, which should cost approximately BZD 10-15 per person to take you the remaining 2 miles to the entrance of the reserve.
