Car
From Vaca Plateau, head southeast on the main road towards the Southern Highway. Continue on the road for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the intersection at Mile 12. Turn left onto the Southern Highway. Follow this road for about 5 minutes until you see the signs for Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary. Turn right onto the road leading to the sanctuary entrance. There is a small entrance fee of $10 BZD for adults and $5 BZD for children.
Public Transportation
From Vaca Plateau, take a local bus heading towards Dangriga. You can find the bus terminal near the main square. After approximately 25 minutes, ask the driver to drop you off at Mile 12 on the Southern Highway. From there, you can either walk (about 20 minutes) or catch a taxi (approx. $10 BZD) to reach the entrance of Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary. Be aware that taxi fares can vary, so it's advisable to confirm the price before starting your journey.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from any location in Vaca Plateau. Simply ask your hotel or local shops to call a taxi for you. The taxi will take you directly to Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary. The fare may range from $30 to $50 BZD depending on your exact starting location and the negotiation with the driver.
