Getting There

Car

If you are driving from Thimphu, take the Asian Highway 2 towards Chhukha District. Continue along this road for about 20 km. After passing through Chhukha town, follow the signs for Phuentsholing. Kyichu Lhakhang is located about 3 km from Chhukha town, just off the main road. Look for a sign pointing toward the temple, and follow the road that leads directly to the Lhakhang. There is parking available at the site.
Public Transportation

To reach Kyichu Lhakhang via public transportation, take a local bus from Thimphu to Chhukha. Buses usually depart from the main bus terminal and the journey takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, costing around 50 Nu. Once you arrive at Chhukha town, you can hire a taxi or a local shared vehicle to take you the remaining 3 km to Kyichu Lhakhang. The taxi ride will cost around 100-150 Nu.
Walking

If you are already in Chhukha town and prefer to walk, head south on the main road towards Phuentsholing. After about 30 minutes of walking (approximately 3 km), you will see signs for Kyichu Lhakhang on your left. The walk is scenic and allows you to enjoy the local landscape, but be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
