Getting There

Walking
From the Paro Dzong, head east on the main road (Drukgyel Chhu). Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. At the fork, take the right path which is signposted for the National Museum. Follow this road uphill for another 500 meters, and you will see the National Museum of Bhutan on your left.

Walking
If you are starting from the Paro Airport, exit the airport and turn left onto the main road. Walk straight for approximately 6 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and cafes. When you reach Paro town, follow the signs to the National Museum. It will involve a slight uphill walk for about another 1 kilometer after entering Paro town.

Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start from the Paro Town center. Head west along the main road towards the airport. After about 2 kilometers, look for signs directing you to the National Museum. Take the road that leads uphill, following the direction signs. The museum will be on your left after about 1 kilometer.

Walking
From the local market in Paro, start by heading south towards the main road (Drukgyel Chhu). Turn left and walk east for about 800 meters. When you reach the fork, take the right path leading uphill. Continue straight for another 500 meters until you see the National Museum on your left.
