From Gasa, take the Gasa-Punakha Highway (also known as the Gasa to Punakha road). Drive approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the junction at the base of the Lungchutse Goemba hill. There is a sign indicating the direction to Lungchutse. Turn onto the dirt road leading towards the temple. Continue driving for about 3 kilometers, where the road may become rough. It is advisable to have a 4WD vehicle for better handling. Park your car at the designated parking area. The walk to the monastery will take about 30-40 minutes uphill.

From Gasa, you can catch a local taxi or shared vehicle that heads toward Punakha. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Lungchutse Goemba junction, which should be around 20 kilometers from Gasa. This ride typically costs around 500-700 Nu depending on the negotiation. From the junction, you will need to walk about 3 kilometers on foot to reach the monastery. The trail is steep, so be prepared for a moderate hike.
