Walking
Start from the center of Mongar town. Head east on the main road towards Jakar. You will pass by several local shops and eateries. Continue walking for about 30 minutes until you reach the intersection near the Mongar Dzong. From there, take the left fork in the road that leads up the hill. Follow this path for another 20 minutes, enjoying the views. You will see signposts pointing towards Jakar Dzong. Keep following these signs until you reach the Dzong, which is located at the top of a hill with stunning views of the valley.
