From the center of Mongar, start at the Mongar Dzong, which is a well-known landmark. Head east on the main road (Bhutan Highway) for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by various shops and local eateries. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Lhuentse. At this point, you should see signs indicating the direction to Lhuentse Dzong.

Once you reach the intersection, turn left onto the road towards Lhuentse. This road will take you through beautiful landscapes and small villages. The walk is approximately 25 kilometers and may take around 6-7 hours on foot, so be prepared with water and snacks.
