From the center of Paro town, head south towards the main road (Punakha Highway). After about 400 meters, you will reach a roundabout. Take the first exit to continue on the Punakha Highway. Walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you see a sign for 'Royal Takin Preserve' on your left. Follow the sign and take the path that leads towards the preserve entrance.

If you have rented a bicycle in Paro, start from the town center and cycle south on the main road (Punakha Highway). Continue for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Look for the sign for 'Royal Takin Preserve' on your left. Turn left and follow the road to the entrance of the preserve. It should take you about 10-15 minutes to reach your destination.
