Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Paro Airport, exit the airport and walk towards the main road. Turn left onto the Paro-Thimphu Highway, which runs parallel to the river. Continue walking along this road for about 3 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Carpenters Road. At the junction, turn right onto Carpenters Road. After about 1 kilometer, you will find Paro Penlop Dawa Penjor Heritage Farmhouse on your right side.

    If you are in the center of Paro town, head southeast towards the Paro Dzong. From the Dzong, walk towards the main road, Paro-Thimphu Highway, and turn left. Walk along the highway for about 1.5 kilometers until you see the junction with Carpenters Road. Turn right onto Carpenters Road and continue for about 1 kilometer. The Paro Penlop Dawa Penjor Heritage Farmhouse will be on your right.
