Walking
If you are starting from the Punakha Dzong, head north along the main road, following the river. After about a 10-minute walk, you will come to a bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight for another 15 minutes until you reach the town center of Thimphu. Look for signs directing you towards Nordzin Lam; the National Handicraft Emporium is located at POB 771 Nordzin Lam, which is approximately a 5-minute walk from the town center.

Local Bus
From Punakha, you can take a local bus heading to Thimphu from the main bus station. The ride will take about 2-3 hours. Once you arrive in Thimphu, ask the conductor to drop you off at the nearest stop to Norzin Lam. After getting off, walk straight along the main road for about 10 minutes until you see the National Handicraft Emporium on your left at POB 771 Nordzin Lam.

Bicycle Rental
You can rent a bicycle from a local shop in Punakha. Start by cycling along the main road towards Thimphu. It will take approximately 2-3 hours to reach Thimphu. Once in Thimphu, follow the road signs to Nordzin Lam. The National Handicraft Emporium is located along this road, about 15 minutes from the town center, on your left at POB 771 Nordzin Lam.
