Getting There

Walking
If you are in Punakha town, start at the Punakha Dzong. Head east on the main road until you reach the bridge over the Pho Chhu River. Cross the bridge and continue straight. You will pass some local shops and houses. Keep walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you see a sign for the Sangaygang View Point on your right. Follow the road uphill for about 500 meters, and you will reach the viewpoint.

Bicycle
From the center of Punakha, rent a bicycle and head east towards the Punakha Dzong. Once you reach the Dzong, take the main road across the Pho Chhu River. Continue cycling straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Look for the sign indicating the Sangaygang View Point on your right. Turn right and bike uphill for about 500 meters until you arrive at the viewpoint.

Find the local bus stop near the Punakha Dzong. Board a bus heading to the Sangaygang area. Inform the driver of your destination; they will drop you off at the closest stop to the viewpoint. From there, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer uphill along the road to reach the Sangaygang View Point.
