From the Punakha Dzong, head east along the main road (Punakha-Wangdue Highway). Keep walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Je Bamo Lam SE. Turn left onto Je Bamo Lam SE and continue walking for about 10 minutes. Simtokha Dzong will be on your left, located at 846 Je Bamo Lam SE.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Punakha. Start your journey from the Punakha Suspension Bridge. Cycle along the Punakha-Wangdue Highway heading east for approximately 3.5 kilometers. When you reach the intersection with Je Bamo Lam SE, turn left and bike for another 1 kilometer. Simtokha Dzong will be on your left at 846 Je Bamo Lam SE.

Take a local bus from the Punakha bus station heading towards Wangdue. Ask the conductor to drop you off at the Simtokha stop. Once you get off, continue down Je Bamo Lam SE for about 10 minutes, and you will see Simtokha Dzong on your left at 846 Je Bamo Lam SE.
